The Gather Team is thrilled to announce that Dr. Ben Schilaty will be a mainstage presenter at Gather Conference Worldwide taking place in Provo, Utah this November 13-14*!

Ben Schilaty is an assistant professor of social work in the Behavioral Sciences Department at Utah Valley University. He also works part-time as a therapist specializing in working with LGBTQ clients and their families. Prior to coming to UVU, Dr. Schilaty worked as an administrator at Brigham Young University. He also spent a decade teaching Spanish at the middle school, high school, and college levels. He is the author of A Walk In My Shoes: Questions I am Often Asked as a Gay Latter Day Saint. He cohosts the podcast "All Out in the Open" and is helps organize the Gather Conference, the largest gathering of LGBTQ Latter-day Saints and those who love them.

Ben has been part of the Gather Conference from the very beginning, in fact, he was one of the original organizers of this event and continues to serve on the Gather Conference Steering Committee.
