Gather for Youth is the Gather Conference program especially for LGBTQ+ youth (ages 14+ through high school seniors). Youth-age friends and relatives who are not LGBTQ+ are also welcome.

Youth do not need to be active in church or out as LGBTQ to participate. We respect all paths and it’s okay if you’re still figuring things out.

As with the adult Gather Conference program, we honor the individual path, agency, divine nature, and worth of each person.

We are identity-affirming, faith-affirming, and respectful of all paths. Church activity is not required, encouraged, or expected of anyone. Many of the youth and adults who attend Gather Conference are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint, or were raised in the church. Other youth and adults who attend Gather Conference are not active Latter-day Saints or are of other faiths. Everyone who wants to participate is welcome.

Gather is dedicated to creating inspiring, educational, and affirming spaces for Latter-day Saint LGBTQ individuals, their families, and friends. Gather’s primary mission is to foster a sense of belonging— to one another and to Jesus Christ.

Now in its fourth year, Gather has become the largest community of identity-affirming and faith-affirming individuals seeking to deepen their connection to Christ, while embracing the reality of their individual journeys.

We’re excited to announce that for the 4th year in a row, the worldwide Gather Conference will be held at the beautiful Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, Utah. Find out more about the venue here

Gather for Youth (The Gather Conference Youth Program) takes place at the same venue on the same dates as the adult Gather Conference programming.

A limited number of Gather registration scholarships are available. You can apply here (parents can apply for youth or youth can apply for themselves).

Gather Conference registration scholarships are made possible by the generous donations of Gather attendees.

If you are an adult who is interested in donating to provide Gather Conference scholarships, there is an option to add donations during Gather Conference registration. For the past 2 years, we’ve offered a Thursday evening meet+greet and we are continuing with that tradition, but with some updates! The meet+greet has been renamed the “opening social.”

All registered attendees (including youth) are invited to the opening social on Thursday November 12th. There is no extra cost to attend if you are registered for Gather Conference 2026.

This opening social activity does not take place at the Gather Conference venue, but is held at another location in the Provo area. Information about about the location of the opening social will be emailed to everyone who plans to attend 24 hours before the opening social. If you think you might want to attend the opening social, please indicate this when you register for Gather Conference.
