Gather: A Lift + Love Event is dedicated to creating inspiring, educational, and affirming spaces for Latter-day Saint LGBTQ individuals, their families, and friends. Its primary mission is to foster a sense of belonging—to one another and to Jesus Christ. Now in its third year, Gather has become the largest community of identity-affirming and faith-affirming individuals seeking to deepen their connection to Christ while embracing the reality of their individual journeys.
We invite participants to share their personal experiences and challenges with honesty, openness, and respect for all. Gather’s speakers and presenters are asked to uphold the event’s core standards, particularly the belief that LGBTQ identity and faith can coexist in a healthy and authentic life.
Gather is an inclusive and welcoming space where individuals can express their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or exclusion. All speakers must refrain from denigrating or disparaging individuals or groups, including The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
