David Doyle lives in Florida and works at a university, supporting research and academic projects. In 2017, a blog post he wrote about an experience he had as a gay man serving in church unexpectedly went viral and outed him to his church leaders. In the 10 years since the viral blog post, David continues to serve in a stake-level calling. He has become a thoughtful and compassionate voice in conversations about queerness and spirituality, sharing his reflections through essays, podcast appearances, and his own blog. He also volunteers with several non-profits that affirm queer people of faith, offering encouragement to others walking their own paths of belief and identity.
