Ben (they/he) is a transmasculine non-binary person. If femininity were a spoon and masculinity were a fork, Ben would be a particularly forky spork. They enjoy fishing, gardening, hiking, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, laughing with friends and family, and hanging out with their adorable little dog Woofie. Ben knew from the time they were about four years old that they liked girls, and that they wanted to be a boy. As Ben has challenged many of their old assumptions, listened to the stories of other LGBTQIA+ people, and prayed and studied, they have come to appreciate both their identity and a nuanced view of religion.
