Holly Burton is an educator, peacebuilder, mother of five, and loving ally to the LGBTQ+ community. As a Research Fellow in Religion and Peacebuilding and Lecturer at the University of San Diego’s Kroc School of Peace Studies, her work centers on dialogue, conflict transformation, and interfaith connection. Married for 35 years, Holly’s peacebuilding work is deeply rooted in her family’s ongoing journey of learning to love, listen, and practice unconditional acceptance. She holds a BA from Brigham Young University and an MS in Conflict Management and Resolution from USD. She is honored to join her father-in-law and son, Samuel, at Gather to share how loving our LGBTQ+ children can be one of the truest expressions of the gospel.
