"Matt Cannady is a second generation member from Michigan, served a full time mission in the Nevada Las Vegas West mission, and has been married for 21 years with 3 teenagers at home, 1 at BYU-Idaho, and 1 waiting for the millennium to be raised. Professionally, Matt earned a bachelor's degree in Geology from BYU-Idaho, and a masters degree in GIS from Denver University. Matt worked from 2009 to 2020 as a petroleum analyst in Denver and Dallas and currently works as the GIS Manager for a small city in southwest Michigan. When not working, taking care of family or church responsibilities, Matt enjoys watching, playing, reading, crafting, time with friends, and exploring. In this space, Matt has been a moderator for the Lift and Love Adult Gender Identity group since January 2025 and works to advocate for better understanding about, and from within, this community."
