Nikki (they/them) is nonbinary trans masc and asexual and is 35 years old. Nikki began their "gender journey", as they call it, while attending BYU-I for a bachelors degree in music beginning at the age of 28. Since then, they have been on a journey not only with their gender, but with their testimony as well. They no longer attend the LDS church, but have found a church home with Metropolitan Community Church San Francisco, having lived in the Bay Area from February to August of this year. Their testimony of and relationship with Jesus Christ has been a constant throughout their journey. They have shared their story through a North Star Voices of Hope Video and, more recently, on the Listen, Learn, and Love podcast with Richard Ostler. They feel blessed to be able to share their experiences here at Gather this year.
