Faith journeys (sometimes called faith transition, faith deconstruction, or faith crisis) are the deeply personal process of stretching, shifting, and/or sometimes even leaving long-held religious or faith traditions as you navigate your personal beliefs.

For many Latter-day Saint families, the moment a loved one comes out is also the moment they realize how unprepared they are — not because they don't love, but because no one taught them how to hold their faith and their beloved LGBTQ+ family member at the same time.

This is one of the most tender and least navigated intersections in our faith community. Parents feel caught. Young people wonder if there's room for all of who they are. The conversations that need to happen most are often the ones no one knows how to start.

At Lift & Love, we believe there is a way forward. This road, while complex, doesn't have to be walked alone...
