Are you an LGBTQ+ artist or an ally with a story to tell through your art? We invite you to create artwork to show at the Gather Conference 2026 Art Show that will take place during the 4th annual Gather Conference Worldwide on November 13-14 2026 in Provo, Utah.

This will be a juried show.

Intent to Create: Fill out the intent to create form (purple button) to let us know that you are going to create work to submit to be juried into the show. Please submit your intent to create form by August 9th, 2026

The deadline to submit the actual artwork for the show is midnight on October 25th, 2026. Artists whose work is accepted will be notified by October 28th, 2026.

We will send out the link to the final Call for Entry artwork submission form to you a few weeks before the due date.

2026 art show theme

“BELONGING IN LIGHT”

We are all beloved children of God, each carrying a light shaped by our unique gifts and lived experiences. Belonging grows as we share that light and receive the light of others. When everyone is welcomed at the table, we illuminate one another---and together, we shine more brightly.

Scriptural inspiration:

"And behold, they did give light" -- Ether 6:2
"That they may shine forth..." -- Ether 3:4

Questions to ask yourself as you consider what to create:

When have you felt most seen, welcomed, or needed?
What stories, gifts, or perspectives do you carry that only you can share?
How have you blessed others with the light of your own gifts?
How has being truly witnessed changed the way you see yourself or others?
What does belonging look like to you?
What moments, relationships, or places have illuminated your journey?
How have you been able to use your light to lift others?
Have you every discovered beauty, hope, or connection in an unexpected place?
How might your artwork become a vessel of hope, compassion, understanding, or belonging for someone else?

Media: We welcome all creative mediums that align with the theme including but not limited to submissions in painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, assemblage, photography, etc…

important dates

8/9 Intent to Create - Fill out the online form (purple button above) to let us know you are creating work for the show by August 9th (preferred). Anyone can still fill out this intent form up until the final submission deadline of 10/25, but the sooner we know - the better!

7/20-10/25 Create your artwork! (pour all of your creativity and narrative of your own experiences as an LGBTQIA+ individual or ally into your work!)

10/25 final submissions due digitally (online) by midnight.

10/28 list of accepted work will be sent out. All artists whose work is accepted into the show are invited to create prints/reproductions of their work to sell at the show (there will be a 25% commission withheld by the Lift and Love organization to help cover costs of the show so price your original work and reproductions accordingly. We will send out a submission form for you to let us know what reproductions you will bring to the show including sizes, numbers of reproductions, prices etc…)

11/1 deadline to fill out reproduction submission forms (we will assign product numbers for you to include on all originals and reproductions).

11/2 send out product codes to artists

11/37:00am bring your artwork and reproductions to the Utah Valley Conference Center for set up. It’s important that all items arrive at 7:00am that morning because we will only a short window of time to set up the show before the Gather Conference starts.

11/13-11/14 we will have time for artists to come and stand with their artwork so that they can share their work and stories with patrons. Times will be announced once we know the Conference Schedule so we can time it well with the activities of the Conference.

6/286:00pm pick up artwork/reproductions that haven’t sold. We will not have room to store artwork so please make arrangements for all of your artwork to be picked up at 6:00pm on the 14th.
